FINNFEST 2008 CALENDAR:
I have created a 2009 calendar as a memento for FinnFest2008. It features pictures of the Duluth area and is free to download for your personal use. The calendar is designed to print out on double sided 8.5 x 11 photo paper with a hinge on one side to create a standard 11 x 17 calendar. There is a front cover picture, then twelve monthly pictures with a standard calendar under each picture, and a final back cover picture. If you have a broad band connection you should have no problem downloading the complete PDF which is 40 MBs. However, the file has also been broken up by months so you can download one month at a time as a series of smaller PDFs, and if you just want to print the pictures you can download the JPGs.
As an alternative, you can put the PDF you download on to a jump drive and bring it to your local photo printer and have them print them out. I went to a local UPS store at the Kenwood Mall in Duluth and found that they had the equipment to print double sided and also to install a binding, just like a calendar you buy in a store. (Of course you have to pay them to do it, but it may cost less than printing on your own printer). Since they already have the PDF on their computer you don't even have to download it.
