Gifts to FinnFest 2008 are needed.
Each annual FinnFest begins its life with a zero budget, so each community must raise enough money to at least break even. FinnFest 2008 will contribute all proceeds after expenses to the FinnFest Scholarship at the University of Minnesota Duluth, founded in 1992.
Our goal is to create a FinnFest that is fully pleasing to you, the participants - a celebration of Finnish traditions that teach us about roots, values, culture and sharing. Everyone interested in the traditions of Finland is welcome.
Our expenses are based on our decision to present this festival in a safe, air-conditioned, attractive environment in the heart of Duluth, under one roof and right on Lake Superior: the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC.) The setting is breathtaking, with the harbor and Duluth's majestic Aerial Bridge in full view.
Please help us reach our goal.
Send your gift to FinnFest 2008, P. O. Box 3466, Duluth MN 55803-3466.
FinnFest 2008 is a non-profit organization, so your gift is tax-deductible. And you'll be listed in our program as a contributor.
Kiitos! We look forward to meeting you at FinnFest 2008 in Duluth!
